The Honsador Lumber Jacks Take the Field in Style
On March 10, 2026, Honsador Lumber had the honor of joining the players, coaches, and families of the Hawai‘i Amateur Athletic Club Kapolei team at Ho‘ae‘ae Community Park for a special afternoon.
The team officially took the field as the Honsador Lumber Jacks, debuting their new uniforms during practice. Each player also received a Honsador backpack filled with school supplies to support their success both on the field and in the classroom.
During the event, the team and families surprised us with a heartfelt gesture. A parent representative presented Honsador with a $4,500 check representing the value of the uniforms and supplies donated, along with a set of team uniforms signed by every player.
We are honored to support local youth programs and grateful to be part of this team’s journey.
Mahalo to the players, families, and coaches for the warm welcome.

Honsador Lumber Was A Proud Gold Sponsor of the 2026 BIA Home Show
Honsador Lumber was proud to serve as a Gold Sponsor of the 2026 BIA Home Show in Honolulu, an event that brought together the very best of Hawai‘i’s building, design, and construction community.
This achievement was the result of a truly collective effort. We extend our deepest mahalo to our dedicated Honsador Lumber and Alpha Electric Supply team members, whose passion, professionalism, and countless hours of preparation were instrumental in making this event a success. We are equally grateful to our valued vendor partners including IWP, Ore Pac, Trex, and Therma Tru, along with Hilweh Builders and our professional drafting partner DSB Enterprises, whose collaboration, creativity, and commitment helped bring our overall vision to life.
Special recognition goes out to our very own Jocelyn Hirota and Richard Ecraela and to our outstanding marketing partners Wheelhouse 2020 and JPG Hawaii, whose talent and expertise transformed ideas into reality through exceptional displays, quality point-of-sale materials, and digital graphics that elevated the overall experience.
The 2026 BIA Home Show stands as a powerful example of what can be achieved when industry partners, creatives, and community leaders come together with a shared purpose. More than an event, it reflected the teamwork, collaboration, and community commitment that define who we are at Honsador.
Together, we continue to build more than homes and help build stronger communities across Hawai‘i.

Honsador Lumber Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 Hui Waiwai by Hawaii Community Lending
Honsador Lumber was proud to serve as a Pōmaikaʻi Presenting Sponsor at Hawaii Community Lending’s annual Hui Waiwai, an event that brings together partners and community leaders to celebrate progress and expand pathways to homeownership across Hawai‘i.
We were honored to recognize the many accomplishments Hawaii Community Lending achieved over the past year. In 2025, HCL provided grants and loans to 216 families totaling $10.3 million, helping 87 local and Native Hawaiian families successfully build, purchase, or save their homes from foreclosure.
Honsador Lumber was proud to support HCL during a milestone year that marked the highest loan production in the organization’s 23-year history. This momentum also helped lay the groundwork for the successful launch of HCL’s direct mortgage programs, which are filling a critical gap created by significant federal reductions in funding and staffing for the USDA 502 Direct Mortgage Program.
The evening also included special recognition of long-time Honsador customer E. Bueno Construction, led by Elmer Bueno. Elmer and his wife accepted the Outstanding Builder of 2025 award in recognition of his tireless dedication and long-standing commitment to addressing housing challenges for Hawai‘i’s local and Native Hawaiian communities. A native of Kaua‘i, Elmer provides building and general contracting services on the islands of O‘ahu and Kaua‘i and has been a trusted partner in advancing attainable housing solutions.
Honsador Lumber remains committed to supporting Hawaii Community Lending’s mission and their focused efforts to expand homeownership opportunities for Hawai‘i’s local and Native Hawaiian families. Partnerships like these reflect our shared belief that strong communities begin with stable, attainable housing.

Honsador Supports Kapolei’s Keiki Through Hawaii Amateur Athletic Club Sponsorship
Honsador Lumber is proud to be the official 2026 sponsor of the Hawaii Amateur Athletic Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth baseball organization serving the Kapolei community.
Through this partnership, Honsador will cover uniform costs for players, coaches, and team moms — helping ensure every child has the opportunity to step onto the field ready to play. The club’s programs provide a safe, inclusive environment where keiki develop teamwork, discipline, and confidence through the game of baseball.
As Kapolei continues to grow, so does our commitment to the families who call West Oahu home. Supporting youth sports is one way we can invest in the next generation of community leaders.
Mahalo to the Hawaii Amateur Athletic Club for the meaningful work they do — we’re honored to stand alongside them in building a stronger Kapolei, one young athlete at a time.

Events like PBXHi give us the opportunity to share ideas, learn from others, and strengthen relationships that help build a stronger, more sustainable Hawaiʻi.
